Laura is a PhD student at the California
Institute of Integral Studies. She is interested in
transformation through the arts, particularly theater,
transformation of self, the intersections of theater, film,
mythology, spirituality and writing. Her experience in theater
includes directing, playwriting, teaching, Shakespeare, theater
administration, youth theater, and mythology in performance. Other
interests include cooking, gardening, and photography. She is
also beginning a personal exploration of sustainable living and
